You can drop off clothing donations at our main location inside the ET Wright Building in Rockland, MA during regular exchange hours. We also have a drop bin at the Scituate library for your convenience. Check our Contact page for the current address and hours.
There is no limit — take what your family needs. We trust our community to take thoughtfully and leave items available for other families who visit that day.
143 Exchange is 100% free. We never charge for clothing or for access to the exchange. The exchange is funded entirely by generous donations from community members, local businesses, and foundations. If you would like to support us financially, visit our Support Us page.
No — you never need to bring clothing to take clothing. The exchange is unconditional. If you have items to donate, we are always grateful, but it is never a requirement. Your family's needs come first.
Continuously! Donations come in regularly and our volunteers sort and stock items throughout the week. Every time you visit, you may find something new. We encourage families to come back often.
We appreciate the thought! Our best advice is to hold onto out-of-season items until the appropriate season arrives — this helps us manage limited storage space and ensures the donated items find a home quickly. When the season turns, bring them in and they will be exactly what families are looking for.
