The Heart of the Exchange
Volunteers are the heart of 143 Exchange. From sorting donations and running shifts to helping at our seasonal events, our volunteers make it possible for every family in the community to access free, quality clothing.
Whether you can give a few hours a month or show up weekly, there is a role for you here. Students earning service hours are also warmly welcome — please reach out if you need documentation for your school or program.
Volunteer Roles Include:
- Sorting and organizing clothing donations
- Running shifts at the exchange
- Helping at seasonal events and special drives
- Greeting and assisting visiting families
- Students earning community service hours
Volunteer with Confidence
No experience necessary. We provide orientation and work alongside you every step of the way.
Flexible Scheduling
Sign up for shifts that fit your schedule — mornings, afternoons, or special event days. No long-term commitment required.
Welcoming Community
Join a team of neighbors who genuinely care. Many of our most dedicated volunteers started as first-time visitors to the exchange.
Service Hours
Students and community members earning service hours are welcome. We can provide documentation for school or organizational programs.
